Question about Televison & Video

Wireless computer hardware

I have a kick-*** HP Pavilion m9047c (bought from SAMS club Nov. '07) that comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I have packed it with 6GB of RAM and added another 500GB SATA hard drive--It has plenty of umph!
My question is HOW CAN I MAKE MY WIRELESS XBOX 360 CONTROLLER WORK ON MY CPU? Do I really need to buy the Microsoft Wireless controller for the CPU? Can I download a driver that allows me to use the current wireless USB (antenna?) for my XBOX 360 controller?

if you can provide more information about the keyboard make and whether you have installed the drivers or not.

Solution :
1. Right click on MY Computer or Computer and click on properties
2. Click on Device Manager ( Hardware )
3. from the list, click on + sign on keyboard
4. check if the keyboard name is listed / also check if there is no yellow exclamatory mark in the list as unknown device.
5. right click on the keyboard name ( wireless ) and click uninstall
6. Reboot the PC ( With the keyboard CD Driver disk in CD ROM )
7. Continue with the New Hardware found Screen to re-install the drivers for Wireless Keyboard / Mouse

I HAVE A NEW NOTEBOOK AND WIRELESS MOUSE.

When you purchase the wireess mouse it should come with a USB device that plugs into a USB port and reads the mouse, all wireless mouses need a USB eye to read the mouse.

Good luck.

Key board help :{

The keyboard and the mouse work on different wireless sensors. Your wireless keyboard should have come with a receiver too. Unless the mouse and keyboard came together as a set, you'll need two different receivers. Check the battery compartment of the keyboard for the sensor. Some models have a hidden area there to store the usb key for the keyboard.
The only exception is if the keyboard is bluetooth, and your computer already has a bluetooth receiver in it (many laptops and phones come with this feature, lately). You will have to check the website for your keyboard's manufacturer to download drivers. You may also be able to order a replacement USB key for it, but I've never been able to. :P
Best bet is to contact the guy you bought the keyboard from and ask him/her: "Where's the USB receiver for this keyboard you sold me?"

Sounds like your laptop keyboard and possibly the touchpad need to be replaced. You can order them through any authorized HP service center, or you can contact HP for out-of-warranty support if your laptop's warranty has expired.

Set up of a Microsoft wireless keyboard & mouse

The devices probably came with a USB cable and a receiver, or just a USB equiped receiver, that you need to plug into your computer. Go ahead and plug the cable and receiver into the computer so that your wireless mouse and keyboard has a means to communicate with the computer. Next, Here is a website address where you can download drivers for your mouse and keyboard. You must first choose either mouse or keyboard, then the exact product and model, then the operating system, and finally the language. repeat the process for the other device (mouse or keyboard, whichever you did not choose first). Good Luck! And let me know if there are any further problems.
