Question about Honda Water Pump Honda Engine
Hi from the uk you do not say typemodel/ year of vehicle ? however! from your symptoms of having petrol entering the oil sump resulting in rise in sump level ? not to mention dilution of lubricant ? if your fuel pump is mechanical type ie is operated by the camshaft and is bolted to engine ? as was method used b4 electric pumps now ? then i would suspect the diagphram inside the pump is porouse with age and is now leaking fuel through resulting in entering the sump via the pump bolting to engine wher the operating arm enteres ? thi would be more likely than worne pistons/rings may i suggest you do not run engine untill fault is rectified as fuel/oil mix will damage major components or even seizure? due to lack of correct lubrication
