Yes this will work ....
you can restore the original settings by typing *#7370#
and then the code 12345 to restore the original settings and your phone will restart after punching the code..
if this problem persists try to take it to nokia care...

The easiest way I can think of to input a new password is to do a factory reset on your phone. I must warn you that a factory reset WILL ERASE ALL DATA NOT ON A MEMORY CARD, so bear that in mind if a few pictures go missing. If you don't have a memory card, then I don't know what else to tell you.

To do a factory reset, you must first load in to the bootloader. This is done by making sure the phone is fully powered off. Instead of turning it on normally, hold down your volume up+down keys as you hold the power button. If done correctly, you should see a screen with the little google android laying on his back with a panel open on his front side, a bunch of technical stuff at the bottom, and a big green box pointing to the power key, or something similar. Navigate to "RECOVERY MODE" by presing the volume keys, and select it by pressing the power key. From there, you should be able to navigate the menus the same way to get to Factory Reset.

Once again, all data not on memory card WILL be erased. If done properly, your phone -should- now boot as if this were the first time you've ever turned it on. Because you're on Android, once you put in your e-mail address, your contacts should automatically be restored to your phone, and whatever apps you downloaded should automatically begin downloading themselves once more once you've connected to wi-fi. Information such as text messages, however, will still be lost, as well as any other data stored on the phone's internal storage rather than the memory card.

I hope this helps.

HI....MY E72 SOME TIME HANG ..AND AND AFTER SOME TIMES IT RESTART AGAIN AND HANG AFTER SOME TIME ..MY MICRO CARD FREE SPACE IS 2GB ..INBUILT SPACE 19MB...AND NOW I AM USING FRING TOO MUCH....WAHTS...

Your phone memory system is overload. Delete all cache from your browser. Install powerful anti virus and do some scan. If its persist, reset your phone to factory setting. Start with soft reset, if it doesn't work, do hard reset to your phone. Don't forget to put off your memory card before resetting.

Hope this help.

My nokia 5300 camera is not working. As soon as i open a camera mode it says camera on standby and operation failed

Switch off the phone, remove the memory card and boot again without the memory card. Now try accessing the camera, hope it's working now. I would suggest you to scan the memory card or format it (i recommend formatting the memory card so that it'll not fail).
If the problem persists even without the memory card, reset your phone's settings to Factory Default by going to the Settings > Restore Factory (open the settings, press up key once, you'll see the "Restore Factory") using the code 12345. Your phone will automatically restart. Now try again with camera.

If both the above methods don't help out, your only option is to flash the phone or update the firmware. But I don't recommend do these yourself, a small mistake or incomplete will damage the phone or will create more problems. You can visit any service center or any mobile repairing center and get it done with a small fee.

Good luck.

Cant delete header N95 8GB

Sounds like data coruption, the easiest and most reliable way fix this is to perfom a factory reset. A factory reset will only wipe the phone contents and leave the Mass memory data in tact, backup all important to to you Mass Memory and perfome a factory reset.
found in menu -> tools -> settings -> general -> Factory Settings. defualt code is 12345.
this will fix your problem, and about 99% of other software porblems with these phones.

N95 firmware glitch

if you are having software problems here is a guide i prepared to fix them.
There are 3 methods to format the phone
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMPORTANT: back up your phone and memory card first! ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

First: if the phone menus work there is a; go to menu -> tools -> settings -> general -> factory restore. note: the defualt code is 12345
Seconed method requires you to enter these into the dial number area. Nokia Code : *#7370# : NOKIA Format phone (Soft Reset)
Nokia Code : *#7780# : NOKIA Factory Reset (Hard Reset)

Found these in the N95USERS fourm. Note: the defualt code is 12345

Third: is a button combination the needs to be done during the phone powering on
Hold down. 3, * and Green Call button While holding this combination press the power button once to start the phone Note: this does not require any codes; if this works the phone will prompt you to be set up again

None of these methods format the memory card

There are two methods to format the memory card
First: Go to menu -> tools -> utillites -> memory -> options -> format mass storage
Seconed: Connect your phone to your PC via the supplied USB cable. Then select Mass Storage mode on the phone. Once you PC has installed the Mass Storage device you can format the card from My Computer. Note: assuming Microsoft Windows XP or VISTA.

if none of these methods help your phone is fualty and will require to be reatuned to nokia or taken to a local phone tech for repair
