Question about Brother Lay-In Thread Serger Mechanical Sewing Machine
I was serging when my serger suddenly locked up. It made a clunking noise when starting up from the first day I got it. I think something was loose parts on the lower looper and just fell out too far to clunk back in. I'm acquainted a little with it's mechanics since I changed a lower looper on a serger before. I fear having to deal with getting things back into timing, but will do what necessary to get it running again.
I have not worked on this equipment before , i can suggest you to download the service manual for this machine, so that you are better equipped to replace or correct the parts . The link for the same is here
