Whilst the headphones are in use flex the cable from the non working speaker bit by bit down to the jack you should find it will work at some point down the cable as I suspect after long use you will have a break in the cable once this is located just splice the cable and make the break good with a soldering iron, hope this helps

My Labtec Pulse 485 system worked fine until it made a loud continuous noise like hammer-drilling a wall for about 10 seconds. Now it doesn't work at all. Any suggestions ?

Your speakers have an internal Amplifier, this would seem to be the problem-it has failed. This is usually caused by running the audio output at full volume for too long, causing a heat induced overload.

Hiw many mA does the adapter for labtec lcs150 speakers need

6V DC 200 MA; plus shell, minus center pin
aka, Panasonic AC Adapter Model No. RP-65A or equiv..

You want to make sure the plug at the speaker end is wired properly: + on the outer barrel and minus on the center pin (the adapter will have a little graphic for verification purposes). If so, your 500ma adapter should work fine. The voltage might be a little high but nothing the speakers cannot handle I would think.

Labtec LCS-2424 speakers: left speaker stopped working

I have the same problem sir, only the speaker with volume
control works. Earlier I used to twist the volume control this
way and that way to get the sound from the other speaker also.
Now the same technique doesn't work anymore.

If it's just the cord that was damaged, you can simply replace the cord

06 ultra radio no sound from speakers only headset.

Switch is fine. You have a damaged audio circuit caused by vibration. Check the bikes mounting brackets. probably broken. The radio will need to be repaired. www.ironcrossaudio.com

Headset

You use headsets to have conversations over the internet .. or to have a personalised audio equipment,.
You should have used the mic to start with, as you heard over the speaker your voice,

There are two pins. One for MIc and other for the headphones.
Use mic only when recording. other times keep it muted in control panel-> sound and audio...

you can use headphone for hearing when you don want the audio stream to be on speakers., TO use so, you have to take of the output from the CPU to the headphone pin after removing the speaker pin or configuring the audio controls control panel-> sound effect manager to have sound always in both theh speakers and headphones.

This requires you to have an appropriate configuration so that all 3 pins are aptly placed fot output from the CPU.
Hope you got what you asked for!
