Question about Sony KP-51WS510 51" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

No sound i was watching tv and the sound stopped. I turned it off and on again and the sound worked but then the sound stopped again. What could be the problem and solution

No sound on full screen now. when in "picture in picture" mode the sound doesn't come on the left when i switch to that side only on the right side.

You can start with resolder deflection board around Hori output, coils and Big diodes also make sure 2 ribbon connectors are pushed in correctly and in good CK Both Ribbons .

TV Screen 'freezing' while watching.

Most likely the DMD board is at fault. If the DMD board is failing it will hold the data lines in the set down which will cause it to stay on until you unplug it. The part number for the DMD board is BP96-00249A but I suggest you have a technician verify the issue and replace the board as it requires mechanical alignment after wards. Mitsubishi WS-65611 tv channels cannot stop scrolling

Check to make sure the channel down button is not stuck. If it is not the button is probably defective. Mits has had a lot of problems with the buttons.

TV turned off and wont come back

looks like the color wheel its bad in the set,color wheel its not spining at its proper speed( one of the segments may be broken)
thats the vibration you are hearing.. and the set its trying to turn on..until you replace the wheel you will be able to watch tv again.

TV keeps turning off

You must Check Lopt Line output Transformer , Sounds it getting hot , then trip. If you are not a tv tech take it to one because there is heave high voltage there.
