Try the 'insert' menu. it's been a while since i used this. think its under there. also, you can use the character map in windows. go to start > programs > accessories > system tools > character map. select the character you want with your cursor, the html code is written in the box.

Dear Sir , If you start copying a Class 10 / 11

I understand the pain and how difficult it is to work on a science document!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way if you are using the office suite applications such as Word 2007 or word 2010, you can insert the symbols easily.
To insert a symbol or special character into your document, follow these steps in Word 2007:
1. Position the cursor where you would like to insert the symbol or character
2. Open the Insert ribbon
3. Click Symbol in the Symbol section
4. A menu will appear with a small selection of symbols
5. If you don't see the symbol or character you'd like to insert, click More Symbols
6. Use the controls to select between symbols and special characters. Additional tools on the symbols tab will help you expand or narrow your selection
7. When you find your symbol or special character, click it and then click Insert
8. When you're done, click Close
The symbol or special character will appear at the appropriate place in your document.
Hope this helps!!!

Well, I am helpless regarding developing a keyboard with all those scientific symbols,.LOL

Is Dreamweaver MX 2004 bilingual? I want to write my website text in both English and Welsh often on the same page, I am unable to find the accents/symbols needed for Welsh words. ie the Welsh for "Dogs"...

Dreamweaver is just software to build a web page/site. If you want your web page/site to show Welsh characters, you have to code the characters. A list of HTML codes for different characters can be found here: http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm Using the Split or Code views, you can type in the HTML code for any character and it will display the character on a web page.
Hope this helps!

Dreamweaver MX 2004 does not launch

Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Macromedia\dreamweaver mx 2004

Rename the Configuration Folder to “Configuration old”.

Note: "USER" is your Windows username. If you are unable to see the “Local Settings” folder, it may be possible that you don’t have explorer set to view hidden files and folders. In explorer, click on Organize > Folder and Search Options, click on the View tab and enable “Show Hidden Files and Folders”. Click ok.

Dreamweaver MX and Vista

very simple actually.

I made a tutorial that shows how to fix it here: http://www.funkytower.com/2008/09/22/dreamweaver-mx-and-vista-fix-insert-tables-best-fix/

I've written a few on this before, but this seems to be the best fix. You more than likely won't get an answer because there are still alot of people using XP and they don't have this issue.

The fix is basically this: going to the program root folder and finding and modifying the function for inserting a table (which is either or both c:\program files\macromedia\dreamweaver mx\configuration\objects\common and/or c:\users\your user name\appdata\macromedia\dreamweaver mx\configuration\objects\common) This file happens to be a simple html file, so it's easy to tweak.

The tutorial's URL I gave above will give you all the details.

Hope that helps!
