Question about Haier HWC08XC1 Wall/Window Air Conditioner
It will not work even when unplugged and plugged back in - it just reads "E1" on the screen, and wont respond to any button presses. Please help, its hot in here!! Thanks a lot
Try unplugging the machine, waiting a couple minutes, then holding down the power button as you plug it back in. Hopefully you will hear a "beep". Then unplug it again, wait a couple minutes, and plug it back in. This procedure works for clearing the "E1" code from some of the Sharp models, so maybe you will get lucky and the same manufacturer made the control board in your machine! Couldn't hurt to try it out. ;)
