Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
I'm sure Matang meant well with his advice, unfortunately obtaining Product Key's in this manner can cause you problems with Microsoft. It is also considered piracy and illegal. He should have known better than to put you in that position
If you ever plan on going on-line, let me save you from the can of worms that you will be opening. Believe me, Microsoft has a significant budget dedicated to piracy detection and prevention.
Why not do it the right way? There is a remedy and it's still considered to be a quick fix.
Product keys can be replaced. Replacement is done solely through Microsoft. But Microsoft has miles of web pages to hunt through, finding the right place to do it can be daunting. Here's how to cut through the red tape, most of it anyhow:
Click here to bring up Microsoft's product replacement page.
Scroll down a few lines.
On the left side, under the second 'More Information' header, click on 'Replacement Product Key'.
This will walk you through the procedure. Follow the prompts. You'll have a replacement key and be up and running legally in no time.
No worries, no problems.
