Question about Frigidaire 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Range - White-on-White

My stove is locked and I get it to open?

I have no idea what caused the problem. Some inadvertant touching of a control or something. I just noticed it and touched the "off-cancel" and nothing happened. I also unpluged the unit waited awhile and re-plugge with no new results. I am stuck with a stove that I can't use but to cook top works fine. HELP!

I'm the one that had the problem in the first place. This is a DUH! repair. For the previous 1+ hours I've pushed the cancel button a million times among others try's. The fix was to push on the cancel button and hold your finger there for more than just a second. Whalla, everything works.

we have a sears kenmore model and this is how we do it. remove everything from stove including the racks, close oven door, slide door lock latch to the right till it locks the door. turn knob to clean. when it is done cleaning it will turn off by itself. on some models the door latch will not slide open when done. just wait for it to cool if this is the case. it should tell on the touch pad on stove the hours that it takes to clean it. good-day !

You most likely have a problem with the temprature contol knob and the thermostat.

This is all contained in one unit. The controller has a long metal "wire" that sends the temp info to the controller. The "wire" ends inside the oven.

This whole assemblage needs to be replaced.

I would need the type of stove, gas or electric age and model to give you replacement directions

My oven/stovetop isn't turning on, and it says "LOC" on the screen. Its like the stove won't ignite. What should I do?

To lock/unlock the controls: Turn all surface burners off.

Touch and hold the GAS/CONTROL LOCKOUT pad for 3 seconds until the display shows LOC.

To unlock the control, touch and hold the GAS/CONTROL LOCKOUT pad for 3 seconds until LOC disappears from the display.

Not heating

Before buying any parts, check for proper voltage to stove and receptacle. On the side of the oven is an opening that keeps the controls cooler. If it is blocked, the temp control might be malfunctioning. Something as simple as cleaning that up might cause it to work better.

I have a fridgadare stove that reads code f9.

OK, I will list the Possible causes and the solutions below to combat this issue you are experiencing.

POSSIBLE CAUSES--

1. Door motor failure / jammed. Latch
motor switch failure.
2. Control software failure, or component
failure (relay stuck).
3. Wiring Problem.

SOLUTIONS--

1. Press CLEAR key.

2. If CLEAR key does not eliminate problem, turn off power for 30 seconds, then turn on power.

3. Check wiring of Lock Motor, and Lock Switch A, and Door Switch circuits.

4. Unplug P4, apply power (L1) directly to the Lock Motor, if the motor does not rotate, replace Lock Motor Assembly. Plug P4.

5. Check Lock Switch A for proper operation (do they open and close, check with ohmmeter). The Lock Motor may be powered as in above step to open and close Lock Switch. If the Lock Switch
is defective, replace Motor Lock Assembly.

6. If all above steps fail to correct situation, replace control.

EO -F2- Error?

F2-E0 - Shorted Touch Pad (Keypad) - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.
