The treadmill has 2 adjustment bolts at the back of the machine. The allen wrench needed to adjust the roller came with the machine. If the belt is drifting to the right, tighten the right bolt (clockwise), and the same for the left if it is drifting left..
Fold up the treadmill. The front (close to the floor now) has 2 metal guides. Those should be rubbing on the walking belt to keep the front centered.

Testimonial: "Thank you so much. After following your instructions I was able to get the walking belt centered and it is staying in place. I didn't have to ask my husband to fix it for me, feel so proud."

I think you are talking about the front roller. It has a rubber sleeve that helps to grip the walking belt. Sometimes you can tighten this enough to keep it from slipping but you run the risk of overtightening and damaging both rollers. We recomend replacing that roller.

One possibility is the pulley in the front roller. The shaft that goes into the roller slips making the belt seem as if its slipping. To check it it requires tmarking both surfaces with paint and then see if the mark seperates.

SOURCE: my treadmill Proform caliber walk... belts keeps

The deck needs to be lubricated. The lubricant can be purchase @ gympart.com. LUBRICATION PROCEDURE: 1. Turn off and unplug treadmill. 2. Cut off the end of the tube of lubricant. 3. Holding the tube in one hand, insert the tube underneath the treadbelt halfway between front and back and halfway between right and left. 4. Squeeze the full contents of the tube onto the deck in a circular pattern in the center 1/3 of the deck. 5. Plug in2_bing.gif and turn on treadmill, then walk normally on treadmill at 0.5 mph for five minutes

Proform crosswalk 395 keeps tripping circuit breakers

If it's happening as soon as you press start then you need a controller and a walking belt. If it's doing it after a few minutes of use then you need to replace your walking belt.

How do I get the belt unstuck from the right side?

You will need to loosen up the right side one revolution, then run the belt at .5 revolution. Watch the belt then retighten the right side slowly until the belt stays in the center. Once its running in the center for at least 1 min without moving over more to right you can stop tightening.

The belt seems to slide to one side on my Proform Crosswalk 380. How do I fix it?

PROBLEM: The walking belt is off-center or slips when walked on SOLUTION: a. If the walking belt has shifted to the left, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the hex key, turn the left idler roller bolt clockwise 1/2 of a turn. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. If the walking belt has shifted to the right, turn the left idler roller bolt counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is centered.

How to do you adjust the belt on a Pro form crosswalk 380? The belt is getting loose and I lost the manual.

To adjust the belt: Less Belt Tension: turn both adjustment bolts on back of treadmill in a counter-clockwise direction. More Belt Tension: Turn both adjustment bolts equally in a clockwise direction. Center Adjustment (moves belt center to the left): Turn left-side adjustment bolt counter-clockwise. Center Adjustment (moves belt center to the right): Turn the left-side adjustment bolt clockwise.
An over tightened walking belt can raise the amp draw of your treadmill, contribute to seam separation on the walking belt, or both, so do not over tighten the walking belt.
You should be able to lift the belt in the center on the side by approximately 2” to 3”, if you cannot lift it by 2” to 3”, the belt is too tight.

I am trying to repair the slippage on my Proform Crosswalk Caliber II belt. How do you adjust the belt and please provide detailed directions. Thanks so much Pau;

Most treads have two bolts on the rear roller. To tighten turns these bolts clockwise. Depending on how bad the problem is, I usually turn a 1/4 turn at a time. Walk on the machine to check tension. Once tension is correct turn right side bolt or left side bolt to center belt. Remember belt will travel to side with least resistance. ie.. if you want the belt to go to the left- tighten the right side(clockwise) Centering the belt is easier with machine running at about 2-2.5 if belt is not rubbing on the sides.

Walking belt stop when you walk

this usually is caused by your tensioners on each side of the upper belt roller have become misalligned and for whatever reason now needs to be adjusted
one side is basically lower on the horizontal
so it slips down as it spins
