Re: formatting player

Quite simple follow these steps: 1. connect the mp3 to your PC 2. Click on "My computer" 3. Right click on the sansa icon 4. Choose Format. That should do it. Let me know if there's anything else and don't forget to rate this solution. Best, D.

I bought my son a "MP4 player, Augen is the Manufactor or model. Will you tell me how to download music to it. I have downloaded a few songs but get this message- "format error"

the reason its showing format error is because the songs you downloaded into it is not compatible with the player. For example, if the song you were suppose to download was to be in AAC format, and you put MP3 format, it will show format error because it does not recognize songs in Mp3 format but with AAC format.

Therefore, when you want to download songs into the Mp4 player, make sure the songs are in either WMA or MP3 Audio format. These audio formats are compatible with Mp4 player.

Also, if you want to download videos, make sure they are in MP4 format.

I wish you good luck.

Windows Driver for MP3 missing

When using your MP3 player for the first time you should format it. Formatting prepares the disk (storage medium) for any reading or writing. It erases all information on the disk, and tests for any bad sectors or errors. Below are the steps for formatting your player: -Connect the disk storage (MP3 player) to your computers USB port. If the computer pops up a window asking what do you want windows to do? Click cancel. -Right click on My Computer and click on Explore. Look for the drive Removable Disk (E:) [The letter drive may vary depending on your computer] This is your MP3 player. -Right click on the drive Removable Disk (E:) and click Format¡K A small window will pop up displaying Format Removable Disk (E:) Click Start. Read the warning and click OK. Format is complete. This procedure can be done occasionally to erase all data on the disk storage..THEN REINSTALL AVI FILE:

Installation disk came in the package broken - what to do??

The disc is read only it does nothing but give directions. Go to windows music player on your computer and sync your cds to E which will be your shaker.
It can only be mp3 format. ONLY MP3. Convert all your music to this format only using this website:
be patient the site is very busy
Even if your file has been renamed to a mp3 file it will not work until you convert the files.
I have 2 of these and had to do this with all my music. Then after conversion click and drag the songs.

If you Format it with the formatting tools given with the software then there are chances to loose the firmware. But formating it with windows format then it will not.Try formatting in command prompt that avoids errors.

Music will not save to MP3 beyond 13 %

You are doing nothing wrong this just seems like a manufactuer error.

If warranty still stands take it back and explain to them the problem you have.

If the mp3 player came with a CD install the software on the CD.

Most mp3 players these days come with there own music uploading software.

I have tryed to find Delstars website but they don't seem to have an official website. If a instruction guide came with it have a look for a website.

My finall solution would to format your mp3 player (not just deleting the songs) doing format correctly.

If you want to try formatting follow these steps. Go to "Start" - "My Computer" look for something called "Removable Disk" which should be your mp3 player now right click on it and click on "Format". Allow it to format and put music on it again as normal and see if that works.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful.
