I have the same crib. Babies R' Us do not sell the conversion rails online. You have to order them through Babies R' Us. They run $59.99 and it takes 7-14 days. It is standard metal rails. They told me I can go to any furniture store and buy the bed frame if I want to.
I did contact the manufacturer and they told me the same thing. It is not rails that are made specifically for this crib.
Hope this helps

I have had the same problem. I have spent much time on the phone with babies R us, and on the 1--800 number for jardin. I have also emailed Jardin, which is now called bergamo, to order the rails at . The responded telling me the rails were never wooden, and to buy metal rails at a mattress store. What a rip! I am furious. When I bought the crib, I was told they had wooden rails, and now the company is saying they were never wooden. This company is a joke. Don't waste your time with them, because you will get the run around.

Instructions on model 343 - 8909N crib from JCP. How do I turn it into a toddler bed?

Did it come with an extra sideboard that connects the end sides together after you take one side off? The mattress spring or board should be sufficient to hold the end sides together but some come with a toddler bed side rail.

I'd be grateful of any help please.. The carrycot gradually makes its way down the shaft when I put my 7 week son in..even though the fixing clip is still closed, I'm worried that it does this and he falls...

Some idea i think?? here and i can only suggest that you get your hubby to fit a jubilee clip that you tighten with a screwdriver.I havent got any babies in the family to cuddle this young all the grandkids are older now and only want money and the older grandson whos now 21 isnt interested in getting married or anything ,unlike my generation who if you wasnt and married by the time you were 21 then questions were asked

Need screws to put crib together

First, I would be very cautious. Several of these cribs were recalled. You can check the Consumer Products Safety Commission to see if your crib was involved.

Secondly, this company went out of business and I was unable to contact anyone about ordering parts or manuals.

If you have the manul, it will tell you how many and what size screws you need.

If you don't have that I would try measuring the distance the screws need to go this will tell you the lengh of the screws needed. Then measure the distance of the hole, this will tell you how large of a screw to buy 1/2" 1/4" etc.

You can take this to your local hardware store such as Ace, Home Depot, Lowe's and ask them to help you pick out the correct items.

How can i get replacement parts for a simplicity crib 8994w ..

This company went out of business and I was unable to contact anyone about ordering parts or manuals. Unfortunately the new company that bought them, isn't taking responsiblity for any Products from the original Manufacturer.

Note, the website phone number and email are non working.

However, I did get a number to a person at the Blackstreet Captial Partners, who help in the purchase of the company. This is the communcations dept. Ask for Don Meyer 202-898-0995.
