Itouch safari white ghost box window

Hello,
I have a white ghost box appearing over my safari web search window. I believe it was from a pop up window that never spawned its own safari page. Any suggestions on getting rid of it???
Thanks!

I just tried to launch a popup from a tv episode site and this window appeared.

I have the same thing after visiting abc.com. Popup appeared and I can't remove. I can't close other pages because the popup covers the 'x'. Going to safari settings and clearing history, cookies and cache does not fix.

I went to Settings, Safari and turned popup blockers off, cleared the history and when I went back into Safari it was ok! I'm not sure if I should go back and turn popup blockers on now.

I turned off the pop up blockers, erased the history and the cache (not cookies) and then held down the home and power button to do a soft restart. When I turned it on again the white box was gone!

Reset your iPhone. This should clear up the problem.

Safari on Itouch 2g wont load videos

Is the huge code thing look like a question mark. Remember, iPods do not have Adobe Flash support. So, if the video is a flash video...it is not going to work.

Safari on my itouch is a gray screen, but everything else works

1) Open "Settings", then select "Safari".

2) Scroll down and click the buttons labeled "Clear Cache", "Clear Cookies" and "Clear History".

3) Hold down the power button on the top of the iPod and the round button at the bottom until it shuts off (even after the "Slide to power off" screen appears).

4) Wait for iPod to restart.

I would turn your itouch on and tap the top bar where the battery and signal show.
a screen will pop down and show your wireless connection. tap it ans check your settings.
make sure you renew lease on your wireless and use the wep code which is on the label of your wireless router.
you should have signal now

good luck

Cannot connect to internet with itouch

Go into Preferances, go to Wi-Fi, touch the blue cycle next to the Wi-Fi router you're conected to. Scroll to the bottom of the page and touch "Renew Lease", touch "Renew Lease" in the pop up. This may or may not work the first time. Either way, power off your iTouch by holding the "Power button" then sliding the slider. Turn it back on, go back to Preferences/Wi-Fi... Renew Lease... Try to open Safari. If it doesn't work the first time, no worries, try it all again. This is the solution, but if your iTouch gets glitchy, it can take a few tries. The most I've ever seen was 3 complete tries... "Renew Lease, Full Restart (slide to power off), Renew Lease"... one. Repeat!

1st gens are easier to jailbreak, as you only need a single program called quickpwn to do it. with 2nd gen, you need to download a .ispw file. good luck
hope this helps ;-)
