Question about HP LaserJet 4250n Printer
I have a hp 4250n which has worked fine for 18-24 months. now every so often it folds the top left corner by about half and inch. it has had a maintnenace kit, and clean can't see any blockages, nor internal issues. very frustrating. fold happens when paper passes through tray one and onto the toner. paper is as permitted in HP's reconmendations. can't understand it?
Do you run labels through the unit? If so, ther is probably a little bit of the glue or label that is inside the feed asm. Hard to find it. Have you tried to open the top door when the paper has fed just under the toner cartridge to see if the bent edge begins at that point. Did the problem appear right after the new maintenance kit? Do you still have the old fuser asm? Reinstall the old fuser and see if problem goes away.
