Question about Dayton E52 Utility Heater
Ran for about 10 seconds without igniting and shut off. Cleaned off kerosene that didnt ignite. Will not do anything now when plugged in. Reset button does nothing.
First you need to get the power problem solved. pull the cover by the reset switch off and check the fuse. Once you have power again and it does the same thing it's most likely the ignitor thats bad. With the top cover off turn it on and watch the spark plug to see if you have spark. If you have good spark then it's the high heat sensor.
