Question about Aprilaire 600 Humidifier
I have a carrier humidifier and it wastes so much water when the fan runs. There is a flow restriction orifice in line (red) but it still allows too much water. It's impossible to fine tune it with a shut off valve. Is there a replacement office that would be more restrictive.?
The oriface is sized for the proper water flow for the model you purchased. If you are dissatisfied you could throttle down on the saddle valve to restrict the water flow to the unit.
