Low water level. Either the inlet valve has trash in the filter screen or you have a bad valve. To check/replace you valve... turn the HOT water off underneath your kitchen sink. Then remove the kick plate and look under there. You'll see where the water line hooks up to the valve, remove the water line (probably a copper tube, but may be flexible stainless steel). Then remove the 2 screws that hold the valve to the frame and let it drop down. Remove the wire harness off the valve. Then use needlenose pliers... see that rubber tube that's connected to the valve? Squeeze that clamp and slid it back, then remove that tube. Now the valve is out. Now that you have it in your hand, look where the supply water comes into the valve... that 90 degree 3/8" fitting. There are 4 screws holding it to the valve. Before you remove them, TAKE NOTE THE DIRECTION OF THE FITTING. Now remove the screws and lift that section off. There you will see the filter screen. If it's clogged, it won't allow water through. Pop it outta there with a knife tip, clean it thoroughly and reinstall it. Rebuild the machine and turn the water back on. Check for leaks! Job time= ~1 hour

If there's no trash in there, you'll need a new valve. The part number is #8531670 and sells for about $40.00 at your local appliance parts store.

You should be able to hang it anywhere inside the dishwasher. Try to pick a spot where the water spray will hit it.
Also make sure the location does not interfere with the spray arm movement as it spins around.

Hi

If you are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.

If it seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more informatiion.

DISASTER! PLEASE HELP. WOKE UP THIS MORNING & DISHWASHER MELTED!!!

Amsanta, sounds like something got hung up on the heating element, stopped the lower spray arm and things started to melt. The lower spray arm, part number, 154414101 is easy to change out. There is also a lower spray arm support 154294101, don't know if you will need that. I believe on your model the lower spray arm just snaps on. There is a tab on the filter screen that will rotate to unlock and the filter screen will lift out. Now the lower spray arm support is accessable. If it's less than a year old, you may be able to get it fixed under warranty. Catriver.

Frigidare Dishwasher/rolls around

Nick, check the spray arms themselves to make sure they are not clogged, cracked or split. You have a seperate wash and drain motor on this model. It could be the filter under the lower spray arm is completely clogged with food gunk. You would have to remove the spray arm and get down to the filter. The wash motor itself has a small impeller on the end. It may be broken or the motor itself is bad. You would have to pull the dishwasher, the wash motor comes off very easily with just a couple of screws and you can examine the impeller. Catriver...post back
