My Polar HR monitor ce0537 do not pickup Hart rate

I purchased F6 CE0537 (with chest strap N2965) one year ago. Worked well about 8 months. Then it started not showing hart rate. I changed the battery still it is not functioning properly. Sometime it will show hart rate only few minutes and goes off. Inly it shows time. That's all it shows. I paid about $120.00 for this. I appriciate your advice. Thanks.

Had the same problem. Just figured it out. The center Polar Logo on the strap needs to touch your chest in a firm way. Bend it back slightly so it fits snug on the middle of your chest.

Polar ce0537 batteries

Hi Garry,
I suggest the first thing to try is to replace the battery.
It uses a DL2025 or a CR2025. Your battery should measure 3 volts, and should be constant. Some batteries will hold some charge, appear OK, but have no power and the voltage drops very quickly.
Check the replacement procedure for the battery. Check the battery flat metal holding strap is clean and in place correctly.
Make sure you can reset the time as this will indicate the heart rate monitor is working

Manual for polar monitor ce0537

Your model number is actually an F4 which you can see engraved above the CE0537 on the back of the watch.

Here is the link to the F4 manual: Manual

If this has been helpful please take a moment to give me 4 thumbs up.

I need to know how to set the heart rate range on my monitor. CE0537

In my tips and tricks page is a link to download the manual for free.

There is also a quick guide to settings on the F6, the F6 has several different types of ranges that can be set, so specific instructions would depend on what type of HR zone you are looking to set and whether it is one, two or three zones.

Polar F4 monitor is reading about 30bpm less than actual

Check that the case back is on the right way. A spring sticking out of the watch mech needs to line up with a hole in the white sticker on the inside of the case back, I think this is the receiver aerial.

Polar F11 not responding

I' advise to start with battery check. If the battery is ok, then you will need a professional to find the cause of malfunction.

Setting Polar CE0537

You do not have the right model number. For some reason, Polar puts the CE0537 in big numbers on the back of the case. The real model number on my unit was in very light engraving right above the words "Polar Electro" on the back of the case. Looks like they have an engraving problem where both the model and serial number are very hard to read. If it helps, my model was S120 and I found the manual quickly on the polar site. The polar site also has the location of model numbers in their FAQ area.
