Question about GE Advantium 120 Convection/Microwave Oven
I've run into what appears to be a common problem with my GE Advantium 120 oven/microwave - it quit working all together when I was cooking at 450 degrees. The problem has already been diagnosed as the thermostat, but after reading comments/postings on this site it might not be that easy to find said "thermostat". Do you know where I can find the actual schematics of the product, and where I might find the appropriate part? I have a friend who is very good with electronic equipment who volunteered to assist if I can find those two objects.
the service / repair manual for this model and have uploaded it to our

It will give you safety info, step by step help in disassembly, troubleshooting tips, and part numbers.
You will need the free Acrobat Reader to view or print it in case you don't have it already.
You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.
Accessing some components for testing and possible replacement (such as the oven cavity thermostat / TCO) will require you to remove the oven from the wall.
If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.
