It needs a AAA battery to operate. It will not self power from the computer and will not turn on without one.

How do I transfer music from my i-pod to a new computer?

A neighbor wanted me to do some uploading onto her iPod and I do not have one, nor an iTunes. It was very simple for me to get it up and running.

You will just need to download/install iTunes on the new computer:
https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

And when you hook your iPod to your new computer you will give permission to the pop-up setup. Add your account and so on.

I need the software for the made for me music player. A friend of mine works with children who are don't have homes or parents, apparently - this kid is a biter...but he is pacified by his one toy....

I don't know if you still need this but I have found that if you just hook the mp3 player to to the computer with it's mini usb cable windows finds it and installs it without a problem. You can then just add the songs you want into the existing folders just like you would with any external flash drive. You don't need the software to manage the music.

I can't seem to download videos into my mp3.

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night, whatever time you are viewing this. You are having trouble downloading videos onto your MP3 Player? Well there is a reason for and you probably won't like this... There is no way you can play videos on this MP3 Player. Sansa Clip doesn't support video files, only music files and audio podcasts. Sorry about this, but FixYa encourages you to come visit the website again soon. Again sorry, but I hope you have a good day, evening or night, whatever time you are viewing this solution post.

My music after i burn it it will not play on my cd player

Hi Martin!
  • If your CD supports MP3, try burning another CD using slower writing speed.
  • If your CD doesn't support MP3, make sure to burn a regular Audio CD, instead of MP3 disc.
If you are satisfied, rate my solution with 4 "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

Best regards,
Pelu.

How do you download music on this device.

Go to the following link and download "Multi Media Studio Version 5.2.1.2, and install it on you computer.
Once you have it installed you put you music in it (You can scan your computer with the program to find your music)
Once you have your music in the program, make sure the Multi Media Studio is running, then hook up your cord from the MP3 player to the computer.
The MP3 player will show up in the Multi Media program, you can then click on the player and see what songs you have on it.
If you want to add songs, then highlight them by right clicking and draging down on them, then click on "Add to portable device"...(this will show in the Multi Media Program) This will add the songs to your MP3 player.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

easiest way is to hook it up to your pc, go to start, my computer, then find the sansa - it should have a folder that says music, go into that folder and delete what you want deleted and add what you want to add... that's the easiest way

Cannot add new music or access previously loaded music

I know you hate to do this,..but reset your sanDisk, first,..if you've done this and it still doesn't allow you to add,..you will need to make a change in your settings....go to USB, then make sure you have selected "Auto Detect".

Computer says songs are there iPod says there not

your ipod will not function properly with windows media player. it may play the music but it won;t get functionality from the ipod.
You have to use iTunes to get your ipod straightened out. Once you mount it on iTunes you will see the music and be able to add music and delete music.

Can not hook up my ipod

You need to download iTunes and create a library. Once you have iTunes installed...follow these steps.

  1. Add music to your hard drive by inserting CD's into your computer. When you put in a CD it may ask you to import the music into your library, or you may have to click the button on the lower right that says import music. iTunes generally finds the song titles and CD name by itself, but if the CD is obscure or a local band you may have to type it yourself.
  2. iTunes will automatically add the music you took from the CD to your library.
  3. You can also add music you may already have on your computer by going to File> Add file to library or File> Add folder to library. Once you have added all of the music you want to put on the shuffle, go to step 4.
  4. You can now plug in your iPod. iTunes should recognize the iPod pretty quickly. You will see it under a tab on the left called devices. Once it finds the iPod, you should be able to select music from your library and drag it directly to the Shuffle.
  5. You can click on the iPod's icon in the left side column and do several different things. But mainly I would just use it to see how much space you have left for your music.
It's as easy as that! Comment on this post if you need more help.
