You will need to reload the drivers and application. if the problem persists, there is a hardware fault.

Hello Ricardo,

This handheld computer is much like a regular computer and you can use the alt buttons plus the buttons that have an arrow associated with them to navigate your screen, and using the enter command as normal on your keypad. I believe on this unit there is a scroll up button and if you press the orange button these will change the direction to left to right. Alternately you can use the tab button to move to all selectable fields within that particular screen and like I said before, simply use the enter button as your entry command. If you are still having trouble navigating the computer screen, I would reference back to the user guide for this particular product which can be found via either a google search, or the Symbol website. Please contact me back if you have further questions.

When device is getting on device is hanging in windows mobile version screen

If its not booting up correctly you can either clean boot the device or reflash the firmware. Note this will return trh device to its default state and loose any information stored on the device.

Clean Booting the CN50

If the CN50 seems to be locked up, try warm booting and then cold booting the computer. If neither method works, use a clean boot to get the computer up and running for further troubleshooting. When you clean boot, the CN50 only loads files and applications that are absolutely required by the operating system. A clean boot returns the CN50 to an "out of the box" or factory default state, so that you can run diagnostic tests to troubleshoot the normal boot processes:

To clean boot the computer using the mobile computer:

1 Remove the battery pack from the back of the CN50.

2 Reinsert the battery pack and press the Power button.

3 When the CN50 starts the boot process, simultaneously press <and > until the IPL Boot Configuration Menu appears on the screen.

4 Press 2 to select Force Clean Boot and then press 0 to select

Continue with Boot.

The CN50 executes the clean boot. This process takes a few minutes

The clean boot process erases the CN50 memory, including all applications and data files in the object store. To preserve applications through a clean boot, store them in the Flash File Store.

I want to restore my computor its a samsung v25 back to factory settings its an older model ive tried f10 f8 f11 but nothing working can u help please

The first thing you will do is to click on the "Start" menu in the lower left-hand corner of your computer screen. Click on the "All Programs" prompt. This will take you to another menu. In that menu, you will find an "Accessories" category. Go into "Accessories." Once you are in "Accessories," you will find another menu. In this menu you will find a "System Tools" category. Go into the "System Tools" category. Inside "System Tools," you will find a number of programs listed, among them "System Restore." Click on System Restore.
  • 2 Follow the program's prompts. The following program will lead you through a number of screens where you will need to navigate toward restoring your computer to its earlier setting. On the first screen, you are given a couple choices. Choose "Restore my computer to an earlier time," then click "next." The following screen will give you several choices on several days of which date and time you would like to restore your computer to. Choose one, and click "Next."
  • 3 Confirm and restore. The following screen will give you one last chance to confirm the date and time that you will restore your computer to. Make sure that this is the exact date and time that you want it restored to, and click "Next." The computer will turn itself off and automatically restart. When the computer restarts, the restoration should be complete. Your computer will be as it was exactly at the time of the restoration that you chose.
  • 4 Use preventative measures to ensure that you are prepared for the future. The best way to prevent problems with your hard drive in the future is to back up all of your information and programs. The most efficient way to back up all of your programs and data is by storing them on a separate external hard drive. These external hard drives are relatively inexpensive and can be purchased at any electronics store. They generally come with their own installation software and instructions on how to back up your data and computer programs.

Right Click on desktop and see if there is "Graphics Options" or similar menu in the main right click menu. Then in the menu locate "Rotate Screen" Menu and set your angle accordingly.
If not then go to control panel and locate your Graphics Driver Control Panel Applet.
Now locate your display/screen settings. Post your screen shot if possible.

The setting to hide the options menu and start bar can be done within the Emulation Parameters on a host PC.
From the main switch board run "Emulation Parameters" and then expand >>Emulation>>Display

This will give you a wide range of options which are useful to you:-
    • Hide Horizontal Scroll Bar
    • Hide Menu
    • Hide Vertical Scroll Bar
    • Start Menu
I would then set a key within:-

    Menu Toggle Key

So that you could bring it up at any time when required. Most people use <CTRL><M> which is in fact <C><0x4D> (from memory).

    Hope this helps.
