My dvd will not eject from the playststion

i put the dis in and didn't play the movie i contenualed to watch t.v and i wanted to change to watch the movie so i push the eject botten and i heard a sound as if it was about to come out but nothing happen so i then put another dis in to see if it would go in but no it didn't work

press and hold the eject button for around 15 seconds, this resets the cd drive, hope this helps
