How to tell if charger is tripped - Guest 2610a 10 Amp Battery Charger

If they are after market chargers then they are probably not putting out the proper voltage... if they are proper chargers it could be the wall plug is reverse polarity... a 5 dollar wall plug tester which looks like a mini charger and bought at any local hardware store can tell you that with its 3 light system.... be surprised how many are wrong in a house.. if that isn't it the charger maybe shot... unlikely two different chargers are bad though... more likely a second hand pad with dead batteries... which means a trip to the repair Depot. But if they are stolen ...

Yes it is probably the charger. If the system works with just the battery in the circuit, it would eliminate the majority of the wiring. The problem could still be wiring, but between the charger and the battery. Check all the connections before you go changing anything.

Look at the transformer/power pack and somewhere it will tell you the volts, amps and watts. My dell 15.4" PC takes a "65 watt" power pack. Get an inverter thet is at least twice as big in my opinion.
A standard size is 300 watts. I would be sure it has at least one USB charger as well. They start at about $25.00 and go up.

Assuming there is power at the cigarette lighter jack - turn the Nuvi off - then connect the charger. It should display charging battery or charging complete.
If nothing - does it charge with the wall charger? If so check the fuse in the car charger - it's usually in the tip of the charger which can be turned to get the fuse out.

Laptop not charging
if you have a brand new battery and it is not charging, check the charger you may have to replace the plug on both sides, check the cables.
you can take the charger to a TV repair shop and tell them to check it and see if there is any juice (charge) coming out of it. that is a common problem with chargers, we trip over the cable or pull it out of the laptop by accident and it brakes little by little. if there is no charge coming out you can star by checking the jack you may have to cut it and have them check it again.
if you don't want to go trough the whole testing, just tell the TV repairman to fix it it should cost you about 30 bucks instead of 80 for a new original charger or find a chinese one on e-bay

I've never had a charger blow a fuse in servicing hundreds of chairs, so I am going to guess you fried the charger. Normally they just stop due to an transistor going out, but a blown fuse is big.

If you talking about charger stand vs. charger plug in, use the plug in charger.

If that doesn't work, you have to do a hard reset by removing the battery, leaving it out for several hours and resinsert the battery. If that does not resolve the problem your phone may need service as there is a little chip that tells the charger when its charged and when not.

Try the plug in charger or remove the battery for several hours to do a hard reset and see if that resolves it. Otherwise, a trip to the phone store for you may be in your future.

does the battery bar go up and down like it is charging or is nothing happening if nothing happening then it is probably your charger has packed up it might be a split wire inside the cable try another charger or take it to a phone shop and they will try it for you for free and they can tell you if its your charger hte battery or the phone if the phone hasnt got wet then it probably is the charger u can get these cheap and a phone shop might have some second hand ones this should solve your problem hope this is some help
