Question about Konica Minolta bizhub C250 All-In-One Laser Printer
My daughter was playing with buttons while something was printing. A page became stuck (which I have since pulled out) and now it it gives me the "Malfunction Detected - Contact your service representative C-2555). In trying to save $$ is there anything I can do myself to detect and correct the problem. I have tried powering off and turning the maching off as well. Your help is greatly appreciated.
C-2555 relates to a low toner density in the yellow imaging unit. I'm sure your daughter pressing buttons did not cause it.
I suggest you release the yellow imaging unit (the bottow row of units)
Just realease and pull it out a little way. Then switch the machine on with the door open. It won't start, but will ask you to shut the front door. Reseat the yellow imaging unit and shut the door. The machine should go in to a stabilization mode and then work.
However, if it comes back, I suspect a new yellow imaging unit will be required.

If you dont want to spend more money on a Image unit, once that happens and nothing else works.... do NOT buy a new IMAGE UNIT... Pull it out, Open the little part where the ''toner goes'' you will see it, its just like a toner cartridge but on the bigger scale. Get some of the ''Toner from the cartridge and pour into the image unit.... '' Trust me it does WORK !!!!

I followed Taminol's suggestion and it worked!!! Thanks a lot and a SAVED a ton of money by NOT calling a technician.
