Cannot pull out spout to replace o'ring of Kohler Faucet 10416

I am trying to replace the o'ring on my Kohler kitchen faucet 10416. The instructions ask me to pull out the spout to remove it from the body. However, regardless of how hard I pull, it refuses to come out. Should I be doing something different?
Thanks.

well not sure if you have handle and ect out of the way but if it had been leaking for a while you can spray some wd-40 around post that spout slides over to break the mineral grip might have to wait a day or so for it to workin make sure you flush wd-40 out before using water

Can't remove the spout of a Kohler K-15176 faucet to get to the O-rings to replace them. The spout seems to be frozen and can't twist or lift it off.

The "o" rings are swelled up and causing it to be frozen. After you remove faucet handle and Collar that holds main body on, you may put some penetrating oil like 3 in 1 oil around sides and wait 5 minutes, next it takes all elbow grease to try and twist and turn to break the "o" rings and free it up to remove. It has to be forced and may take some strength, but it will come up.

How do I remove the faucet to replace the "O"

You need a pair of chanel lock priers and a set of Allen wrenches some snap ring pliers some sort of small tool to get the o-rings off (a dental tool works good for this) and then just some general tools and some plumbers lube for the reassembly.

I purchased the Danco 80701 "Repair Kit for Delta, Aquasource, and Glacier Bay Faucets with #70 Ball" so that I can repair a leak in my Delta kitchen faucet. The instructions on the package are...

Sounds like the old style center-control delta type faucet, rubber washers describe older type but still good. The rubber seats have holes in middle, supply water to the cylinder which diverts water to the spout, and has a seal over top of ball allowing stem for handle.

Think they are talking about flex-hose type faucet accessory getting clogged, Maybe: lift the flex-hose faucet housing off the center-control faucet body? Water to it runs directly from center-control faucet and if broken seat gets in narrow line could inhibit spray.

Kitchen faucet spout too has an O-ring under where it connects to the faucet body. Unscrew large nut where meets the faucet body unit (slip-joint pliers), once free of threads, spout should pull straight up, easy or slight tug. I use bent paper clip to remove old one trying to save it in one piece so as to get exact size (that's important) to replace, push on one side then other.

Leaking kitchen faucet

the swivel on any tap has an "O" ring or seal at either side of the outlet into the arm
Any leaks from this area indicate a ring/seal failure

The o-ring(s) is expanded or stuck. Try spraying silicone lub (found it at most discount ro hardware stores)  Keep twisting it back and forth as you raise it up . Yes. You may have to force it up which will tear the old o-rings that you are going to replace anyway.
