try rebooting the computer and as soon as it turns on tap on the "F8" key until a new boot menu appears, choose "safe mode" if the computer starts successfully in safe mode. restart it and allow to boot normally. If this fails comment back as to whether it started in safe mode or not and I will attempt to help you further,
There are a couple ways to fix this , 1. When you turn on the computer as it's booting up start pressing the "F8" button on your keyboard , your pc should load up to a black screen with several options in white text to choose from , try "boot using last known good configuration" , if that is unsuccesfull repeat the previous steps & this time choose "boot safe mode". If you can at least get it to boot into Safe Mode you can undo / repair the changes that occured .
2. If you can't even boot Safe Mode , you can try booting your pc using the operating system installation disc / recovery disc that came with your pc . Once loaded you can select to repair your current installation . Then sit back & wait till it's done , it will reboot & you should be presented with your login screen .
Try booting to "Safe Mode" (tapping the "F8" key on boot), or however you can get to your Desktop, click start, right click "My Computer", select "Properties", then "Advanced" tab, then click the "Settings" button under "Startup and Recovery", then uncheck "Automatically restart" under "System Failure", click "OK" then "OK" again and restart your PC.
That should allow you to run without the instant restarting on BSOD, so you can repair/remove Mcafee.
try to boot in safe mode, if you can then from there try to remove the latest software or hardware you install. if you are unable to boot in safe mode, then try to repair or reinstall the os. plz post your findings
