Question about Bravetti E109FS Food Processor

1 Answer

Won't work I think I may have burned up the motor. I was using it and it quit working. I'm wondering if there is a way to take it apart to check the motor.

MY BRAVETTI JUST STOPPED WORKING, HAS NOT BEEN USED MORE THAN 4 TIMES. THERE SEEMED TO BE MORE HEAT THAN ONE WOULD EXPECT WHEN OPERATING.

What happens when you remove the screws? I had the same problem as KERSEY50. Yesterday my Bravetti just stopped working while I was grating cheese. The top was warmer than usual so I assume I burned the motor.

Food processor circuit board fried ?

The chances of finding new circuit board are slim if none at all they dont sell circuit boards for these just the replacable parts that can be resoldered to the board itself so im sure they dont sell the boards and i have never seen any boards for sale in all the years i have worked on electronic boards.
The only way you could come across whole board is by buying one that has a different problem you might get one of auction site but is it worth it when you might be not sure what is wrong with the one you buy.
If the whole board is up the shoot then the only thing to do is buy new one sorry couldnt offer anymore help but they dont sell the boards the only sell the spare parts i have tryed this route before with small electronics and they just dont do them.
Unlesss im wrong if i am let me know try using search engine and type in :circuit board for "then give make and model here"
Im sure they dont but you never know you might be lucky would love to know

My kitchenaid food processor won't work

Does the actuator push down far enough to catch the button at the bottom? I repaired one simply by adding a vinyl screw cover to the top of the button so it was tall enough to be reached by the actuator.

I have purchased a kenwood FP270 food

not sure if this helps, but we bought the same FP270 11 months ago & use it 3-4 times a week with juicing attachment with carrots & apples. Last week the motor started to smell, and motor burnt out completely today with dust & noxious smoke coming out of the bottom. The Good Guys exchanged it for FPM270 with no hassles under warranty. I don't think the motor is powerful enough for serious kitchen work & had many cracks in the plastic parts.

I have a Cuisinart DLC-8S TX Pro Custom 11 Cups Food Processor that I purchased in spring 2004 and used only sporadically. Last week, I burnt the motor by using it to make fondant. Big mistake. I take...

If you already have a lot of attachments for this model, I would purchase a used motor unit. I got a complete setup at a yard sale minus the work bowl cover for $3 as a spare, and often see them at thrift stores priced quite inexpensively. You could also check ebay. Motor units routinely go for less than $25 including shipping. I'm pretty sure most dcl-8 series motors will work with you bowl and attachments. I like the quality of the older units better than the newer ones. And if you watch ebay closely, you can pick up a lot of pieces really cheaply. Good Luck,

I think my magic bullet over heated and now it won't work. I could smell burning plastic and now when I try to use it, it won't blend. Any suggestions. I hate to buy a new one because I don't need all...

The Magic Bullet power base is designed with HIGH TORQUE MOTORS and it is NOT TO BE USED FOR MORE THAN A MINUTE PER USE.Otherwise its gonna last a long time. You need to buy a new one or a refurbished one. Search google with keywords "amazon magic bullet power base".

I have a kenwood multipro compact 750w 2.1 litres. today when i was grinding a few lentils i must admit with a little water i saw black smoke coming out of the bottom of the processor. i stopped using it...

Howdy. Black smoke from an electric motor usually means damage. You say it worked after, that's sort of good. I suggest you use it until it dies and keep it unplugged when not in use. Plan to replace it fairly soon, though.
Good luck.

It won't turn on

It may simply be that the bowl and cover are not completely in position. The bowl must be locked in place with the handle straight to the front, only then can the lid be locked into place. Then the pusher must be be in--it has a part that interlocks with the lid and prevent the motor from starting until it is in position. Hope this helps!

CUISINART FOOD PROCESSOR MP14 WON'T TURN ON ..NOT EVEN THE RED LI

You should not have taken it apart - that unit has a fantastic warranty. Call Cuisinart and get it repaired - don't even hint that you took it apart, or your warranty is void.

jo82 - here is how to test your motor to be sure -
Remove the workbowl completely, plug the base into the wall outlet, turn the machine on, take a pen and press in the little black/dark gray button on top of the base. If you hear spinning, then the motor is fine.

If the motor is fine, put the work bowl back in place with handle facing fromt of machine, lid lined up with bowl, and pusher sleeve with metal element lined up with front of machine.

If the motor test failed, call Cuisinart and get the unit repaired.
