How to insert sd card from my mobile to laptop

You probably need a USB memory card reader that can read SD cards. I do not any brand of laptop that has an SD card slot built-in. You can probably find printers with card slots.

My nokia 6600 does not read the memory card thought i have a brand new memory card inserted on the memory card slot.

The new memory card you bought might not be compatibility with the phone or may be you didn't fix it properly that's why it's not displaying..

Take your memory card to any of your friends that has similar memory card slot or phone as yours and see if will function .

How can you import pictures in inbox on cell phone to the microchip SD 2gb inserted in phone?

Micro SD cards for cell phones are now costing less and are holding more memory. 4GB SD cards can hold an estimated 1000 songs, over 13,000 images, or 22 hours of video individually. 2GB memory cards hold roughly half those estimates and 8GB SD cards would hold double. So if your cell phonemag-glass_10x10.gif has a SD card slot learn how to utilize this expandable memory option on your device. Follow these steps and you will soon be enjoying your music, pictures, and video on your phone!
  1. Insert your SD memory card adaptor (with micro SD card inserted) into your SD Card drive on your computer. This should open a "Secure Digital Storage Device" or similar window. If not, go to "My Computer" to locate your SD card and open it.
  2. Step 2 To transfer picture files to your SD memory card, open the folder or file that your pictures are stored on. Simply click and drag a file or multiple files and drop them into your SD Card window or folder. You can also copy a picture and then paste it to the SD Card.
  3. Step 3 To transfer music files to your SD memory card, open your "My Music" folder. Select the folder where you are going to get the music from (Itunes, Yahoo Music...). Click, drag, and drop the files into the SD Card window or copy and paste them in.
  4. Step 4 To transfer video files to your SD memory card, open your "My Videos" folder. Select the folder where you are going to get the video from. Click, drag, and drop the files into the SD Card window or copy and paste them in.
  5. Step 5 Take out the SD memory card adaptor from its drive. Remove the Micro SD card (small chip for your phone) and insert it into the SD Card drive on your Blackberry, IPhone, or other compatible cell phone.
  6. Step 6 Go to your media, picture, or music folder in your cell phonesmag-glass_10x10.gif menu. Select which item you are looking for and your files will appear!

Memory card nor inserted

Three things may go wrong.....

1. the memory card slot is defective

soln -- blow into the slot to remove any dirt. if the problem persists, go to nokia care centre, its better not to lay your hands there.

2. the memory card might not be inserted the correct way

soln -- insert it the correct way or maybe wipe it with a clean cloth.

3. there might be a software problem which might be hindering the phone from reading the memory card

soln -- do a firmware reload, through nokia pc suite
