Got a new remote for my viper 791XZ and reprogrammed it .

I programmed my new remote for my alarm.after i programmed it there was a confirmation beep from the siren saying it was reprogrammed.when I press the unlock or lock button on the remote the remote beeps 3 times and while it 's beeping the antenna light on the remote flashes

    I put in a new battery for my Viper 580 two way transmitter. Now every time I press any button the command works on my car, however, the transmitter then give 2 beeps, 3 times.. and the F button flashes

    when opening the door with viper 2-way remote I get two beeps from f key. They repeat for times.

This usually means that the remote did not recieve a signal back from the module or the module did not recieve the remote signal
have you tried repeatively to press the unlock button? does the remote starter work or aux( trunk ) ?
also when putting the battery in the remote , be easy because there is a connector plug soldered on the board real close to where the battery is , and if it is hit by the battery hard enough it will cause those solder connections to disconnect and you will get the beeps and or other malfunctions

You may need to reprogram the remote to your phone. Please use the following instructions to reprogram the remote:

To program the remote to your system please do the following:

1) open the driver door
2) turn the key to the "on" or "run" position
3) locate the valet switch (small black button under driver side of dash) and press once, release, then press again and hold
4) after the siren chirps one time press the lock button on the remote
5) the alarm will give you a unique confirmation tone
6) turn the key off (the same unique tone will be heard again)

Try reprogramming the remote. Open the door, turn ignition on, press and release valet switch one time, then press and hold valet switch while pressing lock button on remote.You should hear a confirmation chirp from the alarm. Release both buttons.Turn off ignition. test.

Viper 5701 remote programming


1st you need to enter the remote into progamming Hold the Function button until the remote gives a long beep and LED light comes on the remote a (it takes about 8 sec.) Then press and hold the remote start buttom until the remote beeps 3 times and LED lights up. Now your ready to program the remote

One of the door has to be open . Insert the key - turn the key to the On position then press the button on the antenna once and then press it again and hold it

You hear a chirp and then you press the lock button on the remote and then you hear a second chirp to recieve confirmation and then release the button and the turn off the key .

Viper alarm keypad will beep for 30 seconds every time I arm or disarm


Change the battery, 2-way remotes require 2 slim batteries on top of one another. Regular remotes only require 1.
