Question about Sharp LC-32SB24U 32 in. LCD TV

My problem is that when I watch my New Flat Screen 32in Sharp TV I see lines in the back ground and I purchased this TV a month ago is there anything you can do for me?

All you can get out of this will be people watching it for an excessive time on a non-moving screen such as a weather channel.You can't do nothing unless you have a receipt, then try to take it back.

White band from top yo bottom of screen


Good luck with this. If it is under warranty, Sharp will take forever to do anything about it. I had this issue and Sharp wanted pictures of the problem, Pictures of the serial and model number and the receipt. I sent it to them 6 months ago and never heard anything back. If it is not under warranty, this is a major repair and it may cost more than a new television.

Sharp 32" lcd tv vertical lines on screen


sounds like you have receiver connection problem..

To test it try to play dvd on your TV..if the picture is fine your TV is good..your problem is on the cable box or receiver..

Sharp LC-46SB54U Looks like something hit the screen (not cracked) but it looks like a cracked window with a few color bars streaming out from the impact point...Any thoughts about how to try to work...


has anyone had this problem? I was watching my sharp Aquos tv and all of a sudden I see a black line, then fuzzzy then black screen then a loud pop, now it looks like colors that sprawl out as if something exploded in one spot inside the screen and it looks like the inside screen is cracked. but nothing hit the tv. it just happend. the sharp people tell me that it cant be fixed or replaced. and they keep telling me i hit the tv! From 5 feet back??? I was watching it. he says..did you see anything strike the tv?? I was like, I am going to ignore that rediculous question because I was on my couch..and no one was in the room! he says the only way that happens is if someone hit it! OMG! i have only had this tv for 3 months and paid $2000 for it. why would I HIT my TV!! no one will help me. I have a master plan warranty on it aswell. they wont help me.

I purchased a 32" flatscreen


A tv this new probably has a warranty. Take it back and let them fix/replace it. It's their headache with the warranty.

Hi,
If the line is present on all inputs, it is most likely a bad panel (screen). The screens are either not available or cost more than a new TV.
Not good news I know but at least you can save the $100 estimate fee.

What you need to do is call sharp and make them aware of this problem. If you are under warranty, they will take care of it. If the model number of your tv has SB in it, you will have to take the unit to one of their authorized service centers in your area(which could be anywhere from 1-45 miles away from you). If you have a AQUOS unit, they will send someone to your home, either way, they will take care of it. give em a call, you have a service issue on your hands. good luck 2 u

Sharp aquos hdtv has sound but shows a white screen


yes and no. That particular tv you have is done for, but if you just purchased it 6 months ago, you are still within you 1 year warranty with sharp. they will ask you to take it to a authorized service center and you need to follow through with the process. about a week or 2 will pass and the service center will deem the unit unrepairable and sharp will replace it if they cant solve the problem. give em call..good luck 2u
