Do you have a screen shot after you enter the new DWORD? I don't see a model to know I am changing correctly.

I needed to reset settings to default and now they won't save.

Try this it helped me:

Go to Registry Editor:

Click START>RUN>type "REGEDIT"

Internet explorer 7 unable to save settings - d351959.gif Add following DWORD Values:

'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main"

Add New DWORD Value called "RunOnceHasShown" and set the value to "1"
and
another DWORD Value called "RunOnceComplete" and set the value to "1"

Restart the Internet Explorer and it should be fine.

Internet Exp 7 won't go to email

If you can access other web pages without a problem, try clearing out your cookies, one way is to click tools, internet options, then click delete, I would choose delete all unless your concerned about your passwords being saved. Another way is to go to www.filehippo.com and download ccleaner, install it, run it, click run cleaner, and just for good measure I would clean and fix the registry too!

Problem when opening IE7

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=74005 is a default home page for IE.
So when you change your Home page on Internet Option Home page are you sure you have type correct address (e.g. http://www.google.com/) and press OK.

Unable to view pictures in IE7

Try to install java from Java.com. Restart after installation then try again.

If it didnt work. reset IE's settings. For Internet explorer 6, go to Tools>Internet Options>Security. then click Reset Web Settings. Also, go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced. Then click restore defaults.

For Internet Explorer 7, go to Tools>options>advanced. then click 'REset".

RunOnce is a setup page. You probably recently installed Microsoft Internet Explorer 7. When you first start it (or the next time if you ignore it) it comes up asking you for some configuration of IE7.

But it never hurts anyone to run a spyware scan on your computer. I advice you to use one of the following (or all of them, to be sure).

- CCleaner.
- Spybot: Search And Destroy.
- SpywareBlaster
- Ad-Aware 2007

On most sites you have the option to download from a mirror of your choice.

I hope this helps. Please rate.

Greetings,

DarkNeogen.
