Yes, you will have very poor 3D unless you get a video card that is better. The integrated graphics are usually only for 2D windows stuff, not games. If you want to get any graphics card, it will be alot faster, and not give you problems. Other then that, there really isn't anything you can do software wise to fix it.

How can i Run "Splinter Cell Chaos Theory" with Shader Model 1.3 ?

Unfortunately, you can't. The SiS M760GX is not a suited graphics cards for that game / 'hardcore' 3D gaming. It's way too slow to get decent performance to start with (no cure for that except upgrading) and secondly the driver software is not fully compatible, it simply doesn't implement all the required features properly, nor is or will it be updated to do so by SiS. (Even) older games might still work properly, but the newer/more sophisticated games won't.

For 3D gaming an ATI/AMD or NVidia graphics card is strongly recommended. Their drivers are way better, they hold the majority of the market and hence most games will work flawlessly on them. Performance still depends on the graphics card chosen and on the speed of the rest of your system (CPU speed, amount of RAM, etc.).

Since the M760GX is a mobile videocard, you probably have a laptop; and most (especially older) laptops can't have their videocard 'upgraded'. And in case you can, it's mostly way too (difficult and) expensive to buy one, even second-handed. You'll end up spending around $100-200 and even when it works, you'll probably hardly notice any real improvement. Besides the chance that the better performing cards run too hot during gaming, as your laptop wasn't designed to handle the more powerful card in the first place.

PS: Some of the latest laptops have (relatively) good 2D performing videocards by Intel (HD4x00 and newer), but these are still not aimed at/optimized for 3D gaming. They might be able to run the older games (like the game you mention) decently though ...

It may not make any difference, newer games rely on DX10 protocols and your chipset may not be capable. You could buy a new graphics card to fit your motherboard, It will be cheaper than a new computer. And you may be able to make your computer last you a few more years yet.

I cont play 3d games graphic card is there in acer aspire 4720z

* The system configuration of Acer Aspire 4720Z PC Notebook is :

160 GB or larger hard disk drive / 5-in-1 card reader / 512 MB or 1GB DDR2 533 MHz DIMM module / Intel Pentium dual-core mobile processor technology T2310 (1 MB L2 cache, 1.46, 533 MHz FSB), Mobile Intel GL960 Express Graphics Chipset.

* Your system have "Mobile Intel GL960 Express Graphics Chipset" graphics accelerator card embedded in the motherboard. Like most of the laptops/notebooks, there is no room for upgrading the graphics card in the motherboard!

* But you can upgrade the RAM upto 2 GB using two DDR2 DIMM memory modules.

* If you want to play 3D games with better performance, switch to Windows XP SP2 and upgrade the RAM!

* If you want to upgrade the memory (RAM), you can check this site : http://www.laptoppartsexpert.com/c-60093-acer-aspire-4720-series-as4720z.html

SiS Mirage 3 Graphics (128 MB) VGA

No, as there is no actual 3D support in the driver in Linux. Even on Windows, 3D support is abysmal, so you're not missing much.

My motherboard driver cd has lost & i could not run 3d games

intel d915 series comes with only 96MB of internal graphics card.
you can share 32 mb to make it 128MB graphics card.

i think you are getting the message "graphics card not found" because your game was designed to work with only some special models of graphics card.

try using a application called "3danalyser" and fake your graphics card only to the game
i hope you have good processor to handle the grapshics

Problem playing 3d online games

The lag is caused by the grahics card memory. 32 mb is not very much for todays games. I would suggest upgrading to a graphics card with at least 512 mb on it. Hope this helps.
