Question about KitchenAid Architect® KEBS277S Electric Double Oven
We just had this problem with our Kitchenaid Superba electric oven. It started beeping for no reason and showed the probe symbol. I actually never used this probe, ever! Call to the tech people: go get a service man! right...
My husband, smarty pants, lol, put a bowl of water into the oven, plugged the probe in and dunked it into the bowl with water, set the temperature to 85 C (that would be 200 F, I believe, but better check it in the manual) and let it heat up. (In any case, set it lower than water boiling temperature!)
That actually did the trick! Once it reached the set temperature, it shut itself off and the probe light went off! Yeah! good hubby!

Tried the probe in hot water and pressing "0". Neither worked. Other suggestions? (thanks for the first two, not your fault they didn't work for me!)
