Digital pictures appear too large for Presentation Publisher
I sent an email to cmb software and got a response from Bob Johnson at email@example.com but that did not help. Subsequently, I have been unable to get a response from him. Have they gone out of business??? I have tried several times without success.

The activation key for your software will have been provided by your vendor or the software publisher, either on the packaging, the documentation that came with the software, or in the case of a download, in an email sent to you.
If you cannot find it in any of these, you will need to contact the publisher with the serial number of the software, so that they can re-issue the key, or emailing them with the relevant information may be sufficient for them to send you the key.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Create your document and save it. If you have the software, a PDF is a good format. Then attach it to an email to your publisher and send. Caveat: If your document is too large, it may be rejected by the publishers server. If that is the case, you can use a service like OneDrive, iCloud or Dropbox. These will allow you to upload the file to the cloud where your publisher can view it or download it, depending on how you set up your upload. Good luck.
Zynga Poker previous sent you an email regarding possible unauthorized access to your Facebook and Zynga Poker account. This email was sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. We recommend changing your Facebook password immediately.

I had the same message trying vista. Windows 7 offers running older programs in XP or even Win 98 SE mode. That fixed the problem for me. Further I recommend running it as administrator.
Hope it helps.
It should be working directly with no other soft but... maybe too large files maybe something else. Try with own, short, without graphics pps. My F480 reads pps with no problem but not too large files. When presentation file got megabytes F480 doesn't want to read. Maybe he is lazy... ;)
I have a similar problem: Files were created in Publisher 2003. Then I had to reformat the hard drive and re-install Publisher 2003. Now I can't open any of my previous files even though created by the same program because "Publisher can not open files from a different version." Very frustrating. I hope someone has a solution. 1) The email could have contained a virus which has stopped your computer from running correctly.
2) Your computer cannot download the pictures because the files are too large. Outlook may appear to jam but you may need to give it time for the pictures to download.
3) Your antivirus software may be stopping the email fro being downloaded.
Do you know who sent the photos?
Are they from a trusted source?
If the files are very large you will need to wait for Outlook Express to download them. Depending on your connection speed and server this may take some time, so be patient.
Do you have access to your email via a web address? Some people use this when they are away from home and want to receive their email. If you can access your email via a web address, I would suggest that you delete this particular email.
