Can my toshiba 3200 support a 18g hard drive? or what is the highest it will support

Look up the specs for your Toshiba at www.toshiba.com If this is an old machine, you may need to update the BIOS and the chipset as well, which will be listed on Toshiba's website. I hope this helps. Good luck and have a great day.

What kind of mobo does this Toshiba V3100 desktop machine have? And what kind of NIC do I need? Besides the origanal RJ 11 NIC that came w/it?

Hello,

Here is a pdf file showing the specs of your computer:

http://www.bjassociates.com/toshiba_v3100.pdf

The MB is a micro ATX board with 3 PCI expansion slots. The one slot appears to have had a NIC card to which you refer. You would have to obtain a PCI Ethernet card (NIC).

Thanks for using Fixya.

Toshiba Equium 3200m hard disk upgrade

From all of the specs, it appears that is motherboard only supports up to a 20GB drive. The way to add this drive is to buy a separate hard drive controller, but honestly that is a waste of money. By the time you finished adding pieces and parts to get everything to work, you will have replaced so much that you could buy a new system and alos have issues wiht some things not working.
Dell has a low end desktop for on $399 and you can find some things even less than that in their refurb section, with a warranty, for less.

MY TOSHIBA LAPTOP SATELTTIE A200 WONT PLAY MY PC GAME I BROUGHT, IT KEEPS SAYING YOUR SYSTEM DOES NOT SUPPORT FULL SCREEN MODE

Hi, it depends what game it is you are trying to play but if it is a recent graphics intensive game you will not be able to play it on your laptop as it will not be up to spec which is why you are receiving that message.

You either need to buy a computer that has a graphics card or buy a games console.

Sorry I don't have any better advice for you except you needing to spend more money!

According to Toshiba, you should have an Intel GMA X3100 Dynamic Video Memory Technology 4.0.

To be sure, there is usually a link to your laptops specs on the Toshiba website so you can double check...

How do i reboot the toshiba te 2000 if i don't have a disc

You can try to boot your toshiba te 2000 up under safe mode. To do this, you start your computer, keep pressing F8 right away, if you keep pressing you should get a startup options, and select safe mode, then it will ask you which operating system (if you have it double partitioned) otherwise it should boot up under the safe mode, otherwise you will have to have the disc.

Hope this helps.
