Http://support.nautilus.com/support/stairmaster.jsp?lid=StairMaster you can download and view all manuals here. If by drive sprocket you mean the hub that both step chains go over.....replace the entire hub. faster easier and less hassle. cost difference is about 40 dollars.

Chances are the right hand clutch sprocket is failing. You can replace just the right hand side or the whole drive hub assembly. I usually find if the right hand side is gone, the left hand side is not too far behind. I will provide a link for the product I am referencing. My Nautilus 4600cl right side slips.Would the drive hub be the probable cause?

Most commonly if one side slips and not the other, you are looking at the drive hub sprocket on the side that is slipping. Chances are, if you are experiencing slipping on one side and not the other, the one that is not slipping, is not far behind. It would be in your best interest to purchase the whole drive hub assembly.

The left peddle has a periodic quick drop as if it is slipping or something. There is a low popping sound whenever this happens. The drop is very slight and occurs about once a minute.
