To Add and set as Defult Printer Go to system Preferences>Print and Scan > "+" symbol on left corner and add the printer.
when you give a command of print there you can see the list of printers and you can select the printer you want to print from.

Youtube not working on mac. no options to play ,pause etc. tried the devolp option hit user agent and safari 5.0.3 windows worked for a bit but not now

It might be a problem with your flash player plug-in.

Try using a different browser - Chrome is a good one as youtube uses html5 instead of flash on it, or update your flash from Adobe.

Hope it helps!

My Mac Book Pro is showing an error when I print

Hi,
Throw away your HP disk and delete all HP software installed on your machine. It's quite rubbish.
Go to system preferences, and printers. Remove your HP printer (by selecting it and clicking on the '-' Then click on the '+' and let OSX find your printer and automatically load the driver. Now it will work.

Printing problem

Try completely removing everything to do wiith the printer, from the computer...software,drivers and make sure the yellow folder, found in program files that was there for the printer is gone,if not, delete it,the restart the computer.Unplug the printer from the computer, then install the cd for the printer again, restart the computer after that is done. When the computer is all booted up,plug in the printer and let windows load all the drivers..it will let you know when its done. Then try your printing again. That should fix it.If not, please feel free to get back to me:)...good luck

My Mac wont print color to my HP printer. The color ink is full and my Dell prints fine to the printer

There is a setting in the print dialogue that allows you to set that the printer prints only in grayscale. There is a chance that you have that setting changed and it is printing in grayscale each time you print by default.

Streaming video on the internet

Your download speed may be effecting this. What you need to do is waiting until file has completed downloading, then watch the video. If a direct feed from the net, hit "play" on the screen, but then "pause" wait a about 20 secs and hit "play" again, this will give it enough time to get ahead of itself.

File/printer sharing between mac and vista

I just now figured out a way to do this.

Just to recap - This is the problem:
Printer is hooked up to Vista PC and I'm trying to print from my MacBook Pro with Leopard.

Before doing this, be sure to check that the exceptions on your firewall are set to enable "File and Printer Sharing".

1) Go to the Vista PC as the administrator user and find the Network and Sharing Center in your Control Panel.
2) You want to turn on everything under Sharing and Discovery EXCEPT for Password protected sharing.
3) You can now close this screen and go to Printers (also in the Control Panel)
4) Find the printer you want to share, and right-click.
5) Click "Sharing"
6) You want to enable this printer to be shared on the network.
7) Click Apply and OK.
8) Go to your Mac and install the software for your printer driver on the mac. If you don't have the software, you can search the website of the vendor (aka HP, Lexmark, Samsung) to find the driver that is right for you.
9) If you allowed sharing correctly, you can go to finder and see that the vista computer will be in your sidebar.
10) Close the finder window and open up System Preferences. Select Print and Fax.
11) In the toolbar, you'll find an option for "Windows". Click it.
12) The workgroup from the Vista PC should show up. Click it and follow the hiearchy down to the printer.
13) At this point, you'll probably be prompted to use put in your mac password. Do that.
14) Seach for your newly installed printer driver in the popup window (matches up with the make and model of your printer). Hit continue and follow the directions.

15) If all goes well, then happy printing. :) If not, I would download Network Magic.

I just put this up because I just figured it out after 4 hours... and it's FREE. :)
