Yes the new seat unit can be used with old zap.You remove the fabric seat (look on u-tube if you don't know how)the new seat unit then fits on to frame via the addapters that come with the xtra seat unit, at the point where the car seat addapters fit. There is a large push button on the top of the seat unit which you push in to recline or sit up the seat, and a little one too next to it, that needs to be pushed away from the larger one, while you hold the large button down when you want to remove the seat unit.I found fitting the xtra seat very easy.To fold the zapp you Must remove the entire seat unit as it won't fold with it on, unlike the old one.
If the chassis was manufactured after the end of 2004 and a 'TS' symbol (comprising the letters 'TS' within a triangle) appears on the chassis, then the currently available Bebecar Easymaxi SPP 'TS' car seat will fit onto it. If not, then it may be possible to get a Bebecar car seat to attach to the chassis by means of a fixing kit, but you should contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further advice.
Check that there's a "TS" logo on display (i.e. a T with an S around it in a triangle). If so, then any bebecar "TS" Easymaxi SPP car seat will attach to it. Similarly, any Bebecar pushchair seat unit, again of the "TS" fixing specification, will attach. Your local retailer stocking Bebecar products can be found at:

Yes, the same hood is used for both the carrycot and the pushchair seat, the hood's bayonet clips being inserted into the relevant slots. Instructions for chassis and seat unit can be requested at email@example.com
Remember, though, that "Adventure" is actually a fabric range as opposed to a model type!
If you have a "TS" system. The letters "TS" will be inside a triangle on the side of the seat or chassis. You can also visit your local stockist or contact Bebecar direct on 01692 408807 for more info.
