I put a new chip in the camera and it says memory full, how do i empty the memory?

A new chip shouldn't be full. See if you have a 'format' function on your camera menu and try that

I just purchased a Kodak printer to print my digital pictures. When I try to look at the pictures wheather the memory chip is in the camera or directly in the printer it will only read 46 of the 200 or -...

If that's the case try connecting the the camera to your computer then print all the pictures then format your memory chip to make sure this is not a problem with the memory chip...

Hope that helps.......

I have a Nikon CoolPix S8000. I have used it a while. When I last turned it on it said my Chip was unformatted and asked if I wanted to format it. I have a number of pictures on the chip and of course...

Dear Bill,
It seems that your SD card is corrupted now, you cannot do anything to recover that. try formating it see if it works or not if no then all you need is to replace it with a new SD Card. or you can try out your local photo shops if they have any solutions.
SD cards are just like old Floppy disks, no one knows when they get corrupted.
Sorry
Gagan

Xd cards unable to be read by computer

some computers need to have a firmware update to read the XD cards others cant get the update and just plain wont work, it just depends on the computer and if the manufacture sprung for the updated chip. Older chips you cant update newer chips you can put in the new driver or firmware. check th manufacture site to see if this is the case. With dell laptops this is the case, of some can updae and some cant.
