I have the cable. When it's connected, I still cannot get the DVD to show. The DVD player shows that it is playing. I  have tried several outputs, and pressing tv/dvd buttons on all three remotes. Can't find the correct combination...can you tell mw what the combination is?
    Thanks

I used the cable with three-pronged color coded pins, red, white, yellow, on both ends. Tried plugging into TV and dvd player, and triec plugging into cable box and dvd player

    thanks for your help

I checked over and over again. the cables are correctly connected
    Thanks

Both on the TV and on the cable box there are 3 connection spots that are color coded. I hooked into these, and into the corresponding spots on the dvd player

You can connect the A/V out to the inputs of the TV.
if you have any HDMI out in the camera, you can connect the same to the HDMI IN of the TV.
Last option is if you have RF modulator, you can modulate the AV out to RF and then connect the same to the TV tuner RF in of the TV.

Once connected, with a Samsung TV, you need to press the SOURCE button on the TV remote control to view any external sources such as your DVD player.

The ‘NO SIGNAL’ message would indicate there is no signal, if you have not tuned your channels in, this may be the digital tuner you are viewing. Press the source button whilst a DVD is playing in the DVD and see if an image displays.

I have purchased a new DVD Player. Please help me connect to a TV with cable.

You need a Scart cable to connect the two. The instruction manual should tell you which port to connect to on the DVD (usually TV). The port on the TV should say AV in or similar . Sometimes you have to tune a TV channel to view the DVD but usually if you select AV on the TV it will play automatically.

Vcr dvd recorders

I assume you mean a Digital Reciever. If so, and the Digital box has two scarts, connect as follows:- Connect the VCR scart to the "Input" scart of the DVD, the output scart of this to the "VCR" scart on the Digi-box, and the "TV" scart of this to the T.V. You need BOTH switched on. On the T.V. select to view the scart that the box is on and on the DVD select to view "Scart Input". You will now be viewing the VHS. When you want to view the DVD just change the selection.
