My DirecTV DVR is connected to Centurylink DSL modem (C1000A) powerline adapter. The DVR says it is connected to network but cant access internet. This configuration worked before with Comcast cable modem but when I switched to DSL no internet. Is there some kind of setting I have to change on the modem? (I have tried resetting adapter, DVR and modem - same results).
Different modems have different configurations - your new provider should be able to assist you in getting connected.

this is usually caused by dirty power, have you installed cfl light bulbs recently?
you might also check to see if any existing full fluorescent lights produce a buzzing noise.

Plug the PowerLine adapter into the wall
Plug one end of the ethernet cable into PowerLine wall adapter
Plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the Orange LiveBox
Plug the Orange LiveBox power adapter into the wall
