Question about NEC SuperScript 870 Laser Printer
Open the top printer door by pressing the round release button on the left side of the printer. Remove the toner cartridge (numbered 2) and the photoconductor cartridge (numbered 1) from the printer. This will give you full access to the paper path and you should be able to remove the jammed paper. If you pull on it and it begins to tear or is feels like it is caught on something, remove the paper and paper tray from the front of the printer and try to reach and remove the jammed paper pulling it back out the direction it went in.
With the jam removed, replace the paper tray and paper, re-install the photoconductor (#1) and the toner cartridge (#2) into the printer and close the top door. Make sure you get the door closed firmly and that it catches otherwise you will still have an error light and not be able to print.
That should fix your problem... good luck! :-)
