I got an ilo mp3 player in the end of March and all of a sudden it doesn't work. I changed the battery and i saw that it says to charge it?? Do we just plug in the USB cable to the computer. I am electronically challenged and can't find the directions. If so, how often does it need to be charged. If this isn't how to charge it, how do you. And how long does it need to charge, as i have had it on the USB cable for several hours and still nothing.
Ok, SOME MP3/4 Players indeed charge from the USB port, albeit slowly... usually tho there comes a charger that plugs into the "Mains" and then plugs into the USB socket on the Player.. Sometimes if the Battery goes really "Flat" the USB port is unable to supplu enough "Current" sucessfully charge it up. (Hence the need for wall charger) IF it was entirely Via USB it would take many hours, I would at least think overnite. Hope that hepls.

I had this problem with my ILO MP3 player - I ended up taking it apart and discovering that the power button wasn't making direct contact with the switch - made a small adjustment and it's been working ever since - hope this helps
plug it up to the computer go to my computer right click the drive for the mp3 player and reformat the drive you also might want to remove the music before reformating it or you will lose the music
Ilo Mp3 Player is weak in Power button so many people get same problem open the case and reinsert the power button still not working, change the rupper piece under the power switch
My ilo model number mp-556 suddenly stopped working so I put in a new battery and all I could get out of it was a loading screen. the player has to be connected to computer via USB cord one end goes into the mp3 or mp4 and the other goes into the usb port after it has charged to turn it on u have to hold the menu button down/ Thats how mine work Does anyone know how to add videos I have added pictures which looks beautiful.
OK it may be the Battery ensure it is "Fully Charged". Take Batt out and replace it again, sorta to "Reset it". If the Batt is OK and it is still "Faulting" then return it to the manufacturer for repair/replacement.
