Printer is stuck in shutting down.

Try unplugging it. Then plug it back in.

Try disconnecting the computer from the printer and shutting it down by removing the power cord and then also shut down the computer for a minute or so and then reboot it and check in "Printers" and see if it has anything waiting to be printed and if so clear out the queue. Flashing green light indicates that the printer is receiving data from the computer and/or printing so you shut it all down and cold reboot to clear out the computer confusion in both the computer and the printer.

My nook won't show the picture I just have the sound what would cause this?

press and hold off button.... switch off at main power point (remove battery if Laptop)

Unplug the printer for about 1min and that should restart the printer.

this sounds like a bad picture tube as it is shutting down becausethey may be drawing too much current fairly common issue with these older projection tv sets

Make sure that before shutting down the machine you have closed all the active programes.

hi!!!! in your case,try to unplug the power of your printer and check the material that stock inside the printer that can cause the printer paper jam and after you check to plug it back.It is normal when the printer is blinking when the printer is paper jam because that is the error when your printer is paper jam.

Bottom screen flashing and the unit shutting down is more like a broken top screen or ribbon problem.

The fuse problems usually blink the amber light in your DS each time you connect the charger.
