Just go into the webcams controls or tools, and uncheck mirroring, it just mirrors the imige making it opposite of the normal view

Is th webcam working in the ASUS supplied software? Is it enabled in Device Manager? Maybe it's not the webcam? In what? Has it work in the software before? Have you updated the software? Have you open the settings in the software? Have you tried other versions of the software?

Asus n80mb no camera detected

Download and reinstall the webcam drivers from ASUS.

Get online and got to In the google search box type: "ASUS Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Webcam drivers.

You have to open the webcam software to activate or start the webcam. There is no button to push or switch to turn on. The webcam software is somewhere in the program list. Click Start/Programs then search for any reference to webcam or camera. Sometimes the webcam might be inside one of the manufacturers folders in the program list so search the folders for it. Some manufacturers have something like Entertainment Experience that will open and show all the entertainment devices such as the dvd drive, webcam, media player, etc. if you see it click it to launch it then click on the webcam or camera icon.

Try using ManyCam

You can always download Manycam and install it. Go to and in the search box type: "" (without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When the site opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says Find Software. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the white search area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your results look for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it and install it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs it would like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additions whatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use, and you will always know where your webcam software is.

Go to Start - Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Device Manager - Imaging Devices and enable the Webcam (Right-Click on the device and click enable)

If this does not solve your problem, go to the Asus Website and download the newest drivers and software for the webcam Install the software and you should be in business. Asus support can be found at the link below.

Most problems with reversed or up-side down webcam images are caused by the wrong device driver. Try reinstalling the webcam driver, or find the right one.

How do i get my asus k50 webcamera to produce sound?

webcams dont have mics...the mics are built into the bezel around the screen and are controlled by the sound drivers. You have to use the webcam software to link the sound drivers to your webcam software so the two work together when you are on video messaging. Check into the webcam software documentation. I know that when I was setting up my webcam in Gmail, it was linked to the sound drivers automatically.
