Question about Polaroid i733LP Digital Camera

1 Answer

I had bought a Polaroid i733 model last march from Walgreen's. I am able to take pics but, as soon as I try to view them it shuts off...i can turn it back on to take more pics. I have used many different batteries and it doesn't help. I contacted Polaroid and since I don't have a receipt or the packaging they can't help me. I was told I could pay them like $70 then I will be able to trade mine in. I don't want to spend anymore $ on their crappy cameras. My sony cybershot lasted me 4 years...shouldn't cameras last at least a year??? What can I do about this???

Regular alkaline batteries (even new ones) often have trouble powering digital cameras which require a fairly high and sustained level of power output. Lithium ion batteries and NiMH rechargable batteries (maH > 2500) are better suited in this kind of device. Make sure you have the correct battery type selected in the Setup menu.

My polaroid i733 turns on the beeps 3 times then turns off when the sd card is in. i have tried formatting the card and camera but it still is not working any help

Had the same problem with our i733 Pink Polaroid. Beeps three times and then shuts off. The reason for this is that the lens is stuck in the partially open position. Because our camera was long past warranty and we bought it for $40 second hand I took the brute force approach. I grabbed hold of the lens and wiggled it from side to side while trying to pull it out (forcefully but being as careful as I could not to damage it) and then there was a small "pop" and the lens came out all the way and the camera was good to go again. Hope this helps.

Polaroid i733 card error

The i733 works with SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it won't work. You need to go with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Polaroid i733 that eats batteries

Sounds like you need to change the camera settings and cut down on turning the camera on and off between shots. Viewing pics on the LCD screen eats up the battery life the most... just an FYI.
