Question about Averatec 3200 Notebook
Is this an OEM battery (did it come with the computer)? Even if it did, your circuit that reads the battery charge is apparently not functioning. This could be as simple as cleaning the battery terminals and the corresponding terminals on the computer.
Otherwise, you should probably replace the battery as you have no reliable way to gauge the status of the charge.
