ALWAYS disconnect electrics....You need to access the motor from the bottom of machine.as it is a pig to work on if you try to replace the bushes whilst in situ...what I do is empty the machines residual water from drain tube bottom front then remove back.... undo belt .... Then lean the machine at 45degrees to one side and undo the two retaining bolts on the pulley side .the whole motor will slide toward rear of machine but uncouple the electrics block first then remove motor.the brushes are spring loaded and the brass clip slides one way to release?there are plenty of YouTube tutorials on bosch washing machines that show brush replacement.good luck.

Bosh WFX2867 Carbon brush replacement

The worn out brush could certainley cause the trip to operate.
The best way to remove motor is to lay washer on it's side, and undo the 2 screws that hold the motor in place, then lever back off the mounts.
Remove the rear cover first and drive belt.
Hope this is if some help to you .

Bosch Washing Machine model WFG2460 drum doesn't turn

There is no start capacitor on this washer if it has brushes in the motor, most likely the prob is due to worn brushes, to check them, do the following.
Remove rear panel, remove belt, remove motor plug.
Undo 2 screws securing motor, lever motor back with a screw driver or similar, keeping hold of motor and remove motor,.
You will find the brushes at the opp end to the motor pulley, replace if less than 1cm in length.

Thanks.

Replacing brushes bosch classixx 1000

Hi ya

The brushes on the machine are located on the motor. The motor for this brand of machine is located on the bottom of the drum. The brushes are in black holders usually but can vary in colour.
The are simply held to the motor with 2 screws each either side.
The best way is to disconnect the pipes from the machine make sures theres no water in the machine and and flip it onto its head i.e. upside down.. use a short handle posi screw drive to remove the brushes from the motor and disconnect the the little wire wire from the end of the brush and remove and replace its that simple

hope that helps
