Question about Panasonic Viera TH-42PX80U Plasma TV
My wife says that our LG plasma TV, which we bought brand-new about a month ago, is emitting a smell. What could this be? I've had a Panasonic LCD flat screen for over a year, and it just started emitting very irritating plastic fumes. The TV works fine and is not hot anywhere. Any ideas?
Lose the wife, if you fine with it then problem solved

A smell from a plasma is usually a electrolytic capacitor leaking. Luckily, replacing capacitors is very easy. you can do it yourself if you have any skills at all, and if you can identify it.
just google what i am saying, you should be able to find the info you need to replace them.
